The asset purchase of Creative Plastics in January 2006 by Christopher C. Araujo was the culmination of a ten year plan by Chris to own his business.
Creative Machining & Molding Corp. is a unique company in that it combines two of the leading technologies in the manufacturing industry today, machining and injection molding. It is a rare occasion to find these two industries under one roof with one owner. This has been Chris Araujo’s dream and accomplishment. Chris began his career in 1982 as a mechanical designer for the Telecommunication industry designing telephone handsets and pick-n-place robots for assembling its components. His career has provided a broad and diversified background which included designing many products such as Ambulances, Mobile MRI trailers, and parts for Automotive, Medical, Electronics, Aerospace, Military, and recently the Candle industry. One of his favorite competencies was as an Automation Manager where he designed, built, and programmed several intricate fully robotic systems for insert molding. These systems produced fully automated and qualified parts without human inspection. The products were air-bag arming sensors for the automotive industry.
